PhiPhi Leh, the island from The Beach movie

During our trip in PhiPhi island, we decided to rent a boat to go to Koh PhiPhi Leh, the island where the movie The Beach (with the beautiful Leo Virginie :)) was shot. It took something like half an hour to reach the famous bay from our resort, the boat wasn't very fast. At least we had more time to look the huge landscapes !

Once in Maya Bay, a guard asked us to pay 100 Bahts each (maybe more, don't remember) but we didn't pay - "we didn't know, we have no money, we will leave soon". And true we left soon, there wasn't much things to do there but having a few pictures. We took the boat to go to the other side of the island, to Loh Samah bay. We stayed there more than one hour an half, just snorkeling ! There were so many fishes all around ... After this we simply went back to our resort. A good afternoon ...

Arriving at Maya Bay (well-known because of The Beach movie)  Calm and peaceful atmosphere in Maya Bay  Classical picture :) (but still nice)  Another one ... took on purpose, of course :)

Pictures of Koh PhiPhi

Here are some pictures of Koh PhiPhi: the village, our accomodation, a few pictures from the top of the island we went to see the sunset, some animals ... I don't think you'll need much explanations: it was simply awesome. Enjoy :)

If you want more details about the trip, please refer to this post.

Sunset over Krabi, Thailand

the sunset from our accomodation, monday, sept 11th

A small post for people that have any concern for my life :) ...

I'm back from Phiphi Islands, Thailand. I'm safe and in good health excepting small sea-urchin parts in my foot. Weather was great -almost, rained in Phuket on friday- and landscape once again unforgetable.

I can't resist making you some kind of overview :)
All the details will come later, I have to work a lot this week ... at least will try :p

same sunset a few minutes later. atmosphere was so peaceful ...
